Accused detective's other cases draw scrutiny from defense lawyers

After joining the Boulder Police Department in 1998, Gardner became a highly decorated detective. In fact, the First Judicial District Attorney's Office was brought on as a special prosecutor because he worked on many cases with Boulder County prosecutors.
